Once again this year, our Nutrition Team was represented at Food Ingredients Europe in Paris. The trade fair is regarded as the world’s leading platform for food ingredients, bringing together innovation, trends and international business relationships.
Discussions focused in particular on collagen and collagen peptides for applications in functional foods and dietary supplements. There was strong demand for application-optimized qualities offering high solubility, neutral sensory profiles and transparent sourcing.
“The strong interest in collagen confirms how relevant this topic continues to be. At the same time, international trade fairs primarily attract new target groups and a large number of supplier contacts – much more so than exchanges with our established customers from Germany,” explains Jochen Panzer, Authorized Officer and Partner at VMP Chemiekontor.
The exhibition provided us with valuable impetus for further expanding our international network and identifying new market trends at an early stage.
We are already looking forward to the next edition in Frankfurt next year.
