Back to the roots

VMP – von Manteuffel and Partners – our name stands for tradition and experience of family business. Founded in 2012, we also have a history that dates back more than 70 years in the world of chemical distribution.

The fourth generation of the von Manteuffel family are now partners in VMP. Our roots go back to the Germania Drogerie in Siegburg, founded by Alfred Kraemer in 1936. That became Kraemer & Martin GmbH, a company that became successfully headed by Arp von Manteuffel one of Germany's most successful medium-sized chemical distributors. After his death, the family business was sold and incorporated into the Azelis Group.

The five partners, who are now active at VMP, are all long-time companions on this journey. Together they have more than 150 years of experience in a wide range of positions at an internationally active chemical distribution company. At VMP, they contribute their extensive knowledge and numerous long-time contacts, and they flexibly manage the company's affairs – always with a focus on the needs of their customers.
